Countersinks

The Countersinks with 3 flutes 90° are suited both for sinking and for deburring. Among their many uses, they are perfect for obtaining holes in which to embed screwheads. Two lines of them are available: the HSS one and the E-Kobalt one.
HSS Countersinks with 3 flutes are manufactured in two types, one following our own standard, the other one following DIN 335 standard. Both types are made of HSS M2 steel of top quality and hardened with the most advanced vacuum processes that give them 64/65 HRC hardness. They have many merits: one of them is the good quality-price ratio.
HSS E-Kobalt Countersinks with 3 flutes are manufactured only following the DIN 335 international standard. They are made starting from HSS M 35 Kobalt steel bars, that let them last very long. For both lines of them the final grinding operation with relief is made by up-to-date NC grinding machines. If lubricating oil is used they last very long.
Stella Bianca Countersinks with 3 flutes 90° (whether the HSS ones, either HSS E-Kobalt ones) are available in the TiN and TiAlN version, too. TiN Countersinks with 3 flutes have on a film of Titanium Nitride that makes the tool very tough and its skidding on the surfaces easier. TiAlN Countersinks with 3 flutes have on a film of Titanium Nitride and Aluminium that makes them frictionless and prevent the cutting edges from stoppage. Thanks to this feature they are very good in working nonferrous metals, abrasive and gumming materials. They can tolerate very high working temperatures (up to 800°).

Bianca HSS Countersinks with 3 flutes following our
own standard are available in eight different diameters,
from 8 mm up to 31 mm. HSS and HSS E-Kobalt following
DIN 335 standard are available in ten diameters, from
6,3 mm up to 40 mm. All products are available in normal

Furthermore Nuova Filp manufactures countersinks for wood in 5 different diameters (from 16mm up to 19 mm) and Shell Countersinks 90°. With these you can at the same time make holes and countersink in the wood. They are to be used with twist drill for wood.
